Reservation policy

At the time of confirming the reservation 25% of the total amount must be paid as a down payment, which accounts for that portion of the total to be paid for the services. If the payment is not received the first week after concluding the reservation, it will be considered cancelled.

The remaining amount is payable in cash on arrival at the house or previous bank transfer (we do not have a POS due to lack of coverage).

Any fees for bank transfers will be paid by the customer and can never be subtracted from the total amount of the accommodation.

 

Documentation delivery
When Casa Jou has received the down payment of 25%, it will send the reservation document, where all the information is included.

 

Cancellations and compensation for renouncing the stay

The cancellation of a reservation can produce some expenses in addition to the down payment for the reservation.

Cancellation of the reservation will result in 100% of the deposit being retained when the cancellation takes place fifteen days or less from the date of booking.

The previous penalty does not apply when the cancellation is caused by force majeure, duly accredited.

 

Changes or modifications to the data

Suspension or modification of booked nights on specific dates (long weekends, Easter, Christmas, New Year and August) will not lead to any claim of reimbursement or refund for the nights and the prices previously set in the initial reservation.

The previous penalty does not apply when the cancellation is caused by force majeure, duly accredited.

 

Maintaining the reservation

If the customer has paid the deposit, Casa Jou will maintain the booking made during the time of entry into the house between 16:00 and 21:00 on the first day of the booking. In case of non-attendance by the customer, Casa Jou will not keep the reservation made or refund the deposit.

In the case of the customer informing of a delay in arrival, the reservation will be maintained and its total amount.

 

Compensation for renouncing the accommodation

When the client leaves the house reserved before the date for which it was reserved, the total price of the unused services will not be refunded.

 

Check-in and check-out hours 

Check-in is between 16:00 and 21:00 and check-out must be before 12:00.

In the case of accommodation during the weekend, check-out can be delayed until 16:00, provided that it does not coincide with another client. (In this case, advance notice is given).

 

Name and identification of the clients

The user must prove their identity when checking-in to the property by means of displaying their national ID, passport or equivalent in the case of countries outside of Spain.

The user will provide the data of a bank credit card in order to meet the additional costs or damages that may occur. The data will be deleted once the payment has been made.

The number of people occupying the house or room can never exceed the number stipulated in the reservation, except for children under two years of age.

In the case of damaging the furniture, equipment, appliances, etc., or the house, the payment will be carried out by means of the client for the total amount of the repair or its refund. A report and value of the repair will be made available during the 15 day following the issuance of the corresponding charge.

In the case of not returning the key to the house at the time of checking out, a charge of € 100.00 will be issued for replacing the locks and copies of the keys.
